Remove your artwork from packing and layout on the floor. Allow about an hour for the panel(s) to flatten out. Arrange in the order of installation. If you have multiple panels, they will be numbered on the back from left to right. Drag the squeegee over the front side of the graphic ensuring that the decal has a firm bond with the transfer sheet. This will also help to flatten your decal for an easier installation.
These types of graphics are typically not touching any corners or boarders. They are usually centered between two points or framed to a piece of furniture. Find your two points, measure and determine your center above and below. You can use a piece of tape to mark this point. Place your center point markers a few inches higher and lower than where you imagine your graphic will be. For your convenience, we provide vertical and horizontal lines to match up with your markers. Place your decal on the wall with a couple pieces of masking tape. Take a few steps back to visualize the final product, then make any minor adjustments if necessary.
If your decal extends to the edge of your wall, it’s possible you will have to make adjustments and trim boarders, based on the height and width of your surface area. For multi-panel installs, position each numbered panel on the surface from left to right. You can temporally secure them with masking tape or small tacks in the outer corners. This will help to visualize the final product and make any minor adjustments before you start installing.
We suggest you use a long level, plumb-bob or a laser-line tool for positioning (all available at most hardware stores). If you ensure your first panel is perfectly vertical, then the remaining panels should follow right in line. Never use the corner of a room as your guide, this is rarely ever straight.
