Our material is not designed to hide surface imperfections. The vinyl is meant to follow the contour of a surface. So, it's important to properly patch in advance, to ensure a smooth flat surface for installation. Most of the time, a standard drywall patch kit and process will do the trick. Be sure to read the fine print to ensure the patch will bond well with your material. Once you're all patched up, we suggest you coat the restored surface with a sealant or paint. That will ensure a successful bond and clean removal in the future.
