Remove all cover plates before installing your panels. When installing a section affecting an outlet or switch, adhere to the top. Make a horizontal cut with a razor blade as close to the outlet as possible, then make a vertical relief cut ¾ of the way down the center. Use your squeegee or cloth to adhere the panel around the outlet. Then use your razor to cut the remaining sides and bottom as close as possible and reinstall the cover. Be sure to shut off the power at the breaker before making any of these cuts.
