Splitting A Panel

If you need to remove an entire center portion of a panel due to a window, TV or other large obstruction, it is recommended that you lay the panels down on the floor in advance. Align them and apply a few tabs of masking tape on the seams above and below the obstruction. Then cut out the unneeded portion of the panels leaving an additional 2 inches to work with. Leaving the masking tape in place, cut the tape at the seam, careful not to damage the panel. These will act as guidelines when realigning the smaller sections of the panels when installing.
