Charles Platon

Meet Charles Platon, the proud owner of Peel and Stick Wall Murals, a leading large-format printing company based in California. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Charles inherited his passion for the world of photographic printing from his father, who founded the company in 1952. As a young man, Charles found great joy in producing stunning black and white photos and spent countless hours honing his craft.

Educated in both the art and science of photo technology, Charles possesses a deep understanding of the photography business and the intricate processes involved in producing high-quality prints. Prior to taking the reins at Peel and Stick Wall Murals, Charles gained invaluable experience during a 10-year tenure at Noritsu, a renowned company famous for their "1-hour photo" system that flourished in the 1980s. Starting as a technician, Charles quickly climbed the ranks to a sales position.

In 1990, Charles decided to rejoin his family's business and apply his acquired knowledge and skills to propel Peel and Stick Wall Murals to new heights. Under his leadership, the company has partnered with major brands such as Panda Express, The Limited, Burlington Coat Factory, Crate and Barrel, Toyota, Dockers, Mattel, and Guess, creating exceptional large-format prints for their diverse needs.

Beyond his professional achievements, Charles is a devoted father to his college-age daughter, who currently resides in New York. He is an avid music enthusiast with a particular affinity for John Hiatt and Chicago Blues. Charles embodies the perfect blend of a welcoming spirit, reminiscent of a 1950s business family, and the cutting-edge expertise required to navigate the modern wall mural industry. His unwavering dedication to hard work and exceptional customer service has truly made Peel and Stick Wall Murals the thriving success it is today.
